Review of Eppicotispai Beechwood Stackable Food Dryer with Net

With produce coming in regularly now from the backyard garden, we needed a way to effectively store everything we weren't using. One of the easiest and simplest ways to store certain produce long term is to dry them. After searching for a rack online, we came across this winner and bought two. The Eppicotispai Food Dryer dried our peppers and herbs without a problem, we even used the racks to dry a bunch of seeds we wanted to keep! The racks were kept in a sunny spot in the house and checked daily to see if any of the produce needed to be rotated, turned or removed.

Product features:

  • Made out of natural Beechwood

  • Dimensions: 19" x 15.8"

  • Wide openings in netting for better air flow

  • Special netting for food contact (according to European regulation 90/128/CEE)

Pros

  • Racks can be used for many different food items: mushrooms, herbs/spices, fruits, vegetables, pastas/raviolis

  • Space saver, racks are stackable

  • Streamline and attractive design

  • Well made

  • Peg legs, if not securely pushed/pounded in, they can easily fall out

Overall these racks performed well and did exactly what they were made to do, two thumbs up! We highly recommend them for your own garden and personal use.

Gardening is hard work, so processing and storing our produce is just as important to us as growing everything. We don't use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides in our garden, thus we always strive find the best products to use after we harvest our produce.
